Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The building is old with sloping floors and a cold room due to incorrect heating, but it added a unique element of fun despite the chilly temperatures inside. The view from my room overlooked the car park, which was not the most appealing sight.
The hotel is located very close to Elan Valley and Aberyswyth, fulfilling our needs with good parking and a clean environment, although it may seem a bit 'tired'. The rooms, although a bit small and dusty, provided a comfy stay despite minor cleanliness issues like finding hair in the bathroom. The service was lovely, with attentive staff showing effort to refresh the hotel, although a certain untidiness was noted in the common lounge. The dining experience, while tasting okay, felt a bit disorganised and lacking in choice. The location in Llandrindod suited our needs perfectly, even accommodating dogs, and overall provided good value for money.
